As Advent begins, Newman staff are beginning to plan for…Lent! Ash Wednesday is February 22, 2023. In recent years Newman has offered a “grab bag” of take-home Lenten resources: the Lenten devotional “black books”, Catholic Relief Services' Rice Bowls, and a brochure summarizing useful information for Lent at Newman. We plan on continuing this. Newman has also offered weekly evening gatherings in Church for prayer and reflection; these have been sparsely attended, with about twenty-five participants. We want to hear how the Newman Community can help you make this Lent a time of spiritual deepening in preparation for the celebration of Easter. CLICK HERE and let us know by completing a short survey.
